JuliAnn, The “Heart” of Empowered Style and founder of Wardrobe Rx, started her stylist career at Nordstrom, where she was a personal shopper in the Personal Touch Department. She quickly became a sought after image consultant because of her ability to understand a client’s personality and match a wardrobe to each individual style. Wardrobe Rx was born out of her clients’ requests for more personalized consultations. JuliAnn realized that this one-on-one consulting was what she loved and decided to develop her own independent business or “passion” as she calls it.

Secrets to JuliAnn’s success are her common sense approach to simplified style and wardrobe organization as well as her insightful ability to lovingly walk her clients through discovery about why they have made some of the fashion faux pas of their past. “It can be a very cathartic experience to explore the genesis of your fashion sense. Each and every item of clothing has memories and feelings associated with it, some greater than others. You might be surprised what a delicate dance it can be.” She then guides her clients in making wise long-term clothing investments while incorporating the latest trends and styles to keep them looking current. She calls this”classic with a kick!”

JuliAnn has interwoven her wealth of image and fashion knowledge with touching and humorous stories to teach quarterly Discover Your Empowered Style Workshops, provide corporate image training and present inspirational messages to women’s conferences. She is a freelance writer for Living Better @ 50 and Sonoma Christian Home.

Her favorite charities are The Salvation Army and Dress for Success.

JuliAnn is an avid reader, loves garlic, the sound of a stream, animals (including her three pooches, Sasha, Tanner and Wolfie), camping and movies. Her favorite outfit is her pajamas!

She is native of Southern California and lives there with her husband Joe, whom she calls “My Joe” and has a blended family with three kids, Perrin- 33, Amanda-23 and Alec-16.
